Bbq Shrimp Recipe
This bbq shrimp recipe is a hit at my house. The kids love eating garlicky shrimp right from the skewers. I hope your family will enjoy it too!
Ingredients:
- 1 lb raw shrimp peeled and devined with tails on
- 4 Tbs olive oil
- 3 cloves garlic (or more to taste)
- 1 tsp oregano
- ˝ tsp basil
- wooden skewers
Directions:
- Mix all ingredients (except the shrimp) in a bowl.
Add shrimp to the marinade and toss to coat.
Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hrs or overnight.
- Remove shrimp from marinade and thread onto skewers
- Either grill or broil shrimp roughly 2 minutes per side or until pink. Do not overcook.
Serving Suggestions :
I like to serve shrimp with lemon wedges, garlic rice and vegetables.
Tip:
If you’re using wooden skewers, make sure you soak them in warm water prior to use.
