Beef Dip Recipe

beef dip

This is an easy and tasty beef dip recipe for the slow cooker. The prep is a breeze and the results are fantastic! My family loves it! If it is too plain for you, you can top it with sautéed onions, mushrooms and/or cheese.

Ingredients:

  • 1.5-2 pounds pot roast
  • ½ cup soy sauce
  • ½ cup water
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 1 (10.5 ounce) can condensed French onion soup
  • 1 cup beer
  • 5 cloves garlic, minced
  • Pepper to taste
  • 4 whole wheat rolls
  • butter

Directions:

  1. Rub roast with garlic and pepper and Place it in a slow cooker Add the beef broth, onion soup, soy sauce, water and beer. Cook on Low for 6-10 hours.
  2. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
  3. Cut rolls and spread with butter. Bake open faced until crispy, about 5-10 minutes.
  4. Slice or shred the meat and place on the rolls. Serve with the sauce for dipping.

Serving Suggestions:

Serve it with yam fries or salad.
