Fettucine Alfredo

This is my family's favorite pasta recipe. I got this recipe from my mother in law and I never bought jarred Alfredo sauce again!
Just make sure to use fresh Parmesan for best results.

Add chicken or shrimp for fuller meal.

Ingredients

1 package fettucine
1/4 cup butter
1 cup half and half
2 cloves garlic, crushed
1 1/2 cups freshly grated Parmesan cheese


Directions

1. Cook fettucine according to the instructions on the package.

2. In a sauce pan melt butter on medium-low heat. Add half and half. Simmer for approx. 5 minutes and add crushed garlic and cheese. Mix with a whisk quickly heating through. Make sure not to bring to boil.

3. Toss with cooked pasta and serve!
