Ground Beef Taco Recipe



Ground beef taco recipe is a fun way to bring taste of Mexico into your house. Kids absolutely love to make their own tacos!

Ingredients:

  • 1 lb lean ground beef
  • olive oil for frying
  • 10 medium hard taco shells
  • 6 tbs (90 ml) Taco Seasoning
  • 1 C water
  • 1 C shredded cheddar cheese(or Mexican cheese blend)
  • 1 large or 2 medium tomatoes, chopped
  • 1 C shredded lettuce
  • 1 C salsa
  • 1 C sour cream

Directions:

  1. Brown beef in skillet and drain off fat. Add a cup of water and the taco seasoning. Stir it together and simmer uncovered for 10 minutes, stirring from time to time.

  2. Warm up tacos according to package directions

  3. Spoon beef and the toppings (cheese, lettuce, tomato, salsa, sour cream) into the tacos and serve.

Serving Options:

If you don’t like hard tacos, you can use soft tortillas instead.
