How to Prepare Asparagus
Asparagus is by far my family’s favourite veggie!
Wondering how to prepare asparagus?
First you must wash it and remove the tough ends that no one will eat. You can do that by cutting them with a sharp knife or I prefer to simple snap them. They will break exactly where you want them!
After that you are ready to steam it! Just be very careful because it takes seconds for this veggie to go from perfect crisp delight to mushy mess. If the asparagus is very thin it may take only couple of minutes for it to be ready so use your own judgment and check it frequently.
When ready add some butter, salt and pepper and enjoy!
If you want a little more oomph the following recipe is very easy and tasty.
