Oven Baked Potatoes

My family loves these tasty oven baked potatoes. Use this recipe as a guideline and feel free to add your favourite spices and cheese.

You can peel the potatoes or leave the skin on. The choice is yours.


Ingredients

  • 4 potatoes, washed and thinly sliced
  • ¼ cup butter
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1-2 green onions, chopped
  • ¼ cup Parmesan cheese, grated
  • dried oregano
  • Pepper and salt to taste

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 425 degrees F

  2. Combine butter, garlic, oregano, green onion, salt and pepper.

  3. Place potatoes in a baking dish and pour butter mixture over them. Mix all together.

  4. Bake uncovered for 15-20 minutes.

  5. Remove from oven, sprinkle with Parmesan and return to the oven for another 15-20 minutes or until potatoes are tender and slightly crispy.
