Pita Pizzas
Pita pizzas are a great alternative to your “traditional” dinner. And your children can help you by putting their own toppings on. My kids sure love that!
Ingredients:
- 4 round pita breads
- 2 cups mozzarella cheese
- 1 cup sliced mushrooms
- 12-24 slices of pepperoni
- 1 clove garlic, cut in half
- 1 Tbsp. olive oil
- 3/4 cup pizza sauce
Directions:
- Rub pita breads with garlic and brush with olive oil
- Spread pizza sauce and top with pepperoni, mushrooms and cheese.
- Grill on barbeque with lid closed, or bake in the oven until cheese is melted and pita is crisp.
Serving Suggestions:
Serve with a salad of your choice.
