Pork Tenderloin Recipes

Pork Tenderloin with Apples

I got this recipe from a good friend and it quickly became one of our favourite pork tenderloin recipes. I hope your family enjoys it as much as we do!

Ingredients:

  • 1 large or 2 small pork tenderloins(1.5 lb)
  • 3 apples
  • 1/3 cup flour
  • 1 cup apple juice
  • 1/4 cup lemon juice
  • 1/4 tsp. rosemary
  • 1/4 tsp. thyme
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • olive oil for frying

Directions:

  1. Peel, core and slice apples.

  2. Heat oil in skillet and cook apple slices on medium heat until tender. Remove from skillet and keep warm.

  3. Cut tenderloin into thin slice about ½ inch thick. Using meat mallet, pound them thinner. Sprinkle with salt and pepper to taste.

  4. Coat meat with flour on both sides.

  5. Cook cutlets in the same skillet until browned on both sides and cooked through. Remove and keep warm.

  6. Add juices and herbs to the pan, bring to boil and cook for few minutes on medium heat.

  7. Place apples over pork and pour sauce over it.

Serving Suggestions:

We like it with mashed potatoes and salad.
