Pot Roast Recipe
This is my favourite Pot Roast recipe for the slow cooker.
It is super easy and you don't need a knife to cut the meat.
And as always, it is kid approved.
I hope your family enjoys it as much as mine does!
Ingredients:
- 1 ½ lbs beef pot roast
- 3 (or more) garlic cloves cut length wise in 4-5 pieces each
- 1-10 oz can cream of mushroom soup
- 1 packet dry onion soup mix
- ½ C water
Directions:
- With a sharp knife make slits in roast beef. Insert slivers of garlic into the slits. This can be done the night before.
- Place pot roast in slow cooker
- Mix the remaining ingredients in a bowl and pour over beef.
Cook on low 8-10 hrs
Serving Suggestions:
This roast makes its own gravy which is best enjoyed on mashed potatoes or Yorkshire Pudding.
