Pot Roast Recipe

This is my favourite Pot Roast recipe for the slow cooker.

It is super easy and you don't need a knife to cut the meat.

And as always, it is kid approved.

I hope your family enjoys it as much as mine does!

Ingredients:

  • 1 ½ lbs beef pot roast
  • 3 (or more) garlic cloves cut length wise in 4-5 pieces each
  • 1-10 oz can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 packet dry onion soup mix
  • ½ C water

Directions:

  1. With a sharp knife make slits in roast beef. Insert slivers of garlic into the slits. This can be done the night before.

  2. Place pot roast in slow cooker

  3. Mix the remaining ingredients in a bowl and pour over beef. Cook on low 8-10 hrs

Serving Suggestions:

This roast makes its own gravy which is best enjoyed on mashed potatoes or Yorkshire Pudding.
