Simple Chicken Recipes

Red Chicken

The "Red Chicken" is one of the simple chicken recipes that we enjoy. My kids came up with the name and that is what we call it in our house. I hope your family enjoys it too!

Ingredients:

  • 4 boneless chicken breasts
  • 1-250 ml bottle of Russian dressing
  • 3 Tbs apricot or peach jam
  • 1 pouch onion soup mix (dry)

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F

  2. Mix all the ingredients in a bowl Place chicken breasts in lightly greased baking pan Pour marinade over chicken.

  3. Bake for 45 minutes or until no longer pink inside and juices run clear.

Serving Suggestions:

We like it with mashed potatoes or rice and steamed veggies.
