Week 4 Shopping List


Week 4 shopping list
Meat
8 skinless boneless chicken breast
1.5-2 lbs beef roast of your choice. (I buy Sirloin Tip)
1.5 lbs pork tenderloin
12 ounce boneless beef rib eye steak
1.5 lbs fish fillets (we like sole or cod)
1 lb boneless lamb
Dairy
5 eggs
¼ C shredded mozzarella cheese
2 cups milk
1/2 cup and 3 tbsp grated Parmesan cheese
3/4 cup cream
4 tablespoons butter
8-12 slices of cheddar or American cheese
Produce
1-2 lemons (to make 60 ml lemon juice)
2-3 apples
2 cups fresh baby spinach leaves
2 medium white onions
1 medium red, yellow or green pepper
1/2-1 cup mushrooms, sliced
2 heads garlic

Bakery


1½ cups bread crumbs
4 long whole wheat rolls
Pasta Aisle
1 jar of Alfredo sauce of your choice
2 tablespoons pesto
1 (8 ounce) package dry penne pasta (or your favourite pasta)
Spices
1½ tsp garlic powder
1 tsp oregano
½ tsp basil
Salt and pepper
Other
1 cup olive oil
2 tbs tomato sauce
2 cups flour
1 cup beef broth
¼ cup red cooking wine (optional)
1/2 cup apple sauce
2 tsp mustard
1/2 cup chicken stock
2 tsp cornstarch
2 tbsp brown sugar
½ cup mayonnaise
